The Olmsted Plan

Edward L. and Helen Maria Fuller purchased the land for Fullers Overlook Farm in 1901, and shortly afterward commissioned the premier landscape architecture firm in the nation, the Olmsted Brothers, to design and implement plans for a weekend and summer retreat. After 100 years of connection to the land, the Fuller family chose to honor their family legacy by engaging Thomas Woltz of Nelson Byrd Woltz (NBW) to re-envision the property for the century to come.

Master Plan

The award-winning master plan developed by Nelson Byrd Woltz establishes Overlook Farm as an exemplary working landscape, founded on principles of ecological conservation, restorative agricultural production, and cultural preservation. It guides Fullers Overlook Farm in preserving the property's rich ecosystems, celebrating its cultural heritage, and establishing sustainable agricultural production.
